Many highly sensitive people experience the world intensely. You may process emotions deeply, feel easily overwhelmed by stimulation, or struggle to make sense of reactions that seem stronger than those around you.

Often this sensitivity is connected to a deeply responsive nervous system. Some people identify as Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), while others discover they are neurodivergent - such as having ADHD or autistic traits. In reality, there is often significant overlap.

Therapy focuses on helping you understand your nervous system, heal the deeper roots of anxiety or overwhelm, and learn how to work with your sensitivity rather than against it.

When you're exposed to something that is too upsetting for you to process in the moment, that experience gets "stuck" in the body. But you don't have to continue to be controlled by your past. Trauma therapy can help your nervous system process experiences that once felt overwhelming so they no longer hold the same emotional charge.

Some experiences are held deep in our bodies, and traditional talk therapy just won't cut it.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy combines the medicine of ketamine with trauma-informed therapy to support deeper emotional healing. In carefully guided sessions, ketamine can soften rigid patterns of thought and emotion, making it easier to access insight, release long-held material, and reconnect with yourself in new ways.

For some people, this process opens doors that traditional talk therapy alone hasn’t been able to reach and allows for a truly transformative process.
